Personal Manifesto

Do you have a personal manifesto?? What do you know is true more than anything else in the world?

I started thinking about this a little bit after reading THIS and now it's really made me want to create my own manifesto.

I don't think this is anywhere NEAR complete. Some of these are stolen from others, some of them are mine. And I'll probably come back in a while to brush it up, add more, or remove some things. Ok. So here we go:

Fairness is irrelevant.

'Comparison is the thief of joy.'

Being loved and accepted unconditionally is a fundamental need.

The world spins madly on.

'It’s nice to be important but it's more important to be nice.'

We are nothing without each other.

Courage comes in all shapes and sizes, but one form is never more important than another.

Speaking your fear reduces it.

Work hard - Love more.

Embracing vulnerability is the scariest and most important thing we can do.

There's no such thing as a non-creative person.

Laughter is medicine for your spirit.

Those are just a few of the first I could think of. I know these things are true. They're all very important to me. But I’m sure there are plenty more I'm missing. So I'm going to keep tweaking and I'll get back to you.
