Maybe they say just the right thing at the right moment. Or maybe they're just... There. When no one else shows up.
Or maybe they come flying into your life with a superhero cape slung over their back, ready to save the day.
As magical as those kinds of people are, what I find shocking is that so much of the time, these people are completely unaware of the power they have over your life.
Not only that, but they may have no idea of how much *they* SPARKLE.
I have a few friends that are simply... Breathtaking.
But for whatever reason, they just can't see themselves the way that I do.
They can't see how powerful, intelligent, passionate, kind, dedicated, funny, and AMAZING they are.
And that breaks my heart so much. It crushes me and makes me want to just... DO SOMETHING to wake them up. Because I want them to feel as sparkly inside as they make ME feel.
I wish there was something I could do show them exactly how wonderful they are. But sadly, you can't force people to look at themselves differently. You can only encourage them to do so.
You can only support change, you can't actually make it happen.
I'm hoping one of my friends is reading this now. Because I want her to know that I *AM* here to support her.
And I’d like to tell her that if she can be brave enough to ask for help, her whole world could change for the better.
I believe in her so much, and even though she can't see it, I know she's just waiting to break open. To have a LIFE ALTERING REVELATION.
She'll get there. I know she will. I believe in her so much. From the tips of my fingers to the rings of Saturn.
I know she has the power in her.
And as soon as she realizes that, well, even the dreams she's been too afraid to ask for will start to blossom
