Confession time?
I've never really been into the whole princess thing. Even as a little girl, I just never gravitated towards to pretty-pink-sparkly fairytales. Disney was cool and everything, but instead of wanting to hang out with Cinderella I always was more interested in chilling with Timon and Pumbaa.
I mean, the closest my childhood fantasies got to royalty was Babar...
Anyways, as I got older, I kinda tried to force myself into liking fairytales more because it was the 'normal' thing to do.
THEN I matured enough to realize just how stupid that was.
The feminist in me kinda shudders at the whole waiting for your prince charming thing, but then I remember that the only real thing I should be uncomfortable with, is being or liking something just because you think you should.
So, long-story-short, princesses aren't really my thing. But dressing up, Yeah I can be into that...
